This costume was worn by Whitney Houston in Director Salim Akil’s 2012 American Musical Film. The ensemble comprises a vintage Rona New York woollen jacket in an elegant camel-coloured design, with a matching sleeveless high-necked dress bearing gold embellishments over a striking camel-coloured bodice. Both costume pieces bear the ‘Palace Costume Company’ labels to their interiors. The outfit was worn by Whitney Houston in the bible study scenes of the film; when Emma Anderson (Whitney Houston) jests about dancing provocatively.
