This intricate 1/12th scale miniature floor tile was used in Director James Cameron’s iconic Sci-Fi Horror Film. The geometrical patterned tile measures 3.5x3.5cm & is made from resin which has been painted metallic to imitate metal. This tile would have been used on the model of the Elevator Ripley (Sigourney Weaver) uses to rescue Newt (Carrie Henn) towards the end of the Film & also on the model of the Sulaco. 1/12th scale models were used primarily for these scenes which saw the Processing Station explode as Ripley, Newt, Bishop & Hicks escape onto the Dropship. This tile has some minor wear from use on set but otherwise remains in fine condition. It comes mounted inside a framed display (37x33cm) with two corresponding stills & a descriptive plaque.
